Pet Friendly Live Event Painter: Event Painting By Jamie
Anything you’d like to share about your experience working with a pet in a wedding?
Since I create paintings, I can take some artistic license and "bend" the truth of the moment if need be. In one instance, I had to paint a dog who was standing with the bridal party. However, he was only showing his rear end to the crowd! Thankfully, I was able to paint him from a photo so that he was facing the right way in the painting!
Tell us a little bit about your pet(s)!
We have two cats, Gollum and Jessie. We've never met cats with such personality before. You would think that Gollum was raised by dogs, given how loving and affectionate he is towards everyone he meets. Jessie is quite the opposite, and is a bit of a "scaredy cat." Once she cozies up to you though, she won't let go!
Why do you love when couples choose to incorporate their pets in their wedding day?
We look at event painting as a way of capturing someone's love story on canvas. Sometimes this includes incorporating human family members into the painting, and also pet family members! These pets are often a crucial part of our couples' love stories, and certain paintings wouldn't feel quite complete without them. Also, the pets can't always accompany the happy couple at the wedding, so putting them in the painting is a great way of including them in their special day!
What areas do you service?
North and Central Florida are our primary service areas, however we also travel to South Florida, and other states upon request.

While the rest of the crew was out making tails wag and hearts melt, Tiny, the cat, went on a very important mission: to scout out one of St. Louis’s most elegant and pet-friendly wedding venues, Hotel St. Louis.
