This 'Yodeling' Basenji Was The Main Character At His Mom & Dad's Wedding! - West Palm Beach, FL

When Vinny’s parents told us they were worried about their beloved Basenji’s famous "yodeling" interrupting their wedding ceremony,

we assured them—we’ve handled rowdy yodelers before!

But Vinny?

He was the picture of wedding-day perfection.

Instead of belting out a celebratory tune, he nestled onto his favorite pillow and watched the entire ceremony in complete awe. Turns out, even dogs can feel the magic of the moment!

From the morning preparations to the final dance, Vinny was a star.

He started the day getting ready with Mom, sitting proudly on her lap (or sometimes even on her train!) as she took her bridal portraits.

Dressed to impress in his custom tux, which perfectly matched the wedding’s baby blue and navy theme, Vinny looked like he had just stepped off the cover of "GQ: Dog Edition."

One of the most unforgettable moments?

The first dance.

As the newlyweds swayed together, they soon bent down and welcomed Vinny to join them—because of course, their firstborn had to be part of their first dance! There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

The couple couldn’t have been happier that their fur baby was part of every special moment.

As they shared:

"FairyTail Pet Care helped to make my wedding day perfect, not only for myself but for my fur-baby, Vinny! They took such good care of him and made all the transitions throughout the day seamless. Vinny can be picky with whom he chooses to be around, but he instantly fell in love with Crissy and her Team. He was treated like a prince throughout the entire day. Her team coordinated perfectly with Munoz Photography to create stunning pictures. Vinny was so happy and calm throughout the day, I am fairly sure he thought the whole party was for him. I would recommend FairyTail Pet Care to anyone who is having a wedding and needs help with their pets. In addition, the Dog of Honor Video was amazing! It was the perfect way to capture my wedding and made everyone cry 'happy tears' when they saw it. They are professional, welcoming, and highly organized, I cannot recommend their services enough."

And that’s exactly why we love what we do.

Meet The Owner!

Crissy has always been an animal lover. Since she was young, she was known as the “animal whisperer” to family and friends, attracting both pets and wild animals alike. She studied Wildlife Conservation at Humboldt State University in Eureka, California before accepting a job in Wildlife Rehab at a local sanctuary in Florida.

She found FairyTail Pet Care through TikTok, having many of her friends say that it “had her name written all over it”. Loving being a fur-mama to her pup Jasper and 3 cats at home, she knew this was the dream for her. After working as a FairyTail Lead Handler for one year, becoming a franchise owner to bring the company to Palm Beach was her new calling.

When she isn’t becoming best friends with your pets at your wedding, you can find Crissy teaching the public as a Wildlife Educator, paddle boarding the Intercostal with her partner, Kelly, and fostering kittens through a local rescue. PS- want to include an animal other than your cat or dog in your special day? Crissy loves working with snakes, lizards, birds, rabbits and other critters too!
