Anakin Solo’s Best Day Ever!

We like to think Solo’s life truly began the day he was rescued by Bridge to Home Animal Rescue in Washington, PA.

From there, he found his perfect family with Natalie and Rob and never had to look back. Naturally, this sweet boy had to be part of their wedding weekend!

Their celebration spanned two days, and they made sure Solo was included in the more intimate Friday ceremony with just close family. All he needed was his little tux, his trusty emotional-support carrot, and of course... his plus-one.

We picked Solo up an hour before the wedding and headed to St. John Fisher Church, where Father Nick greeted him with the warmest welcome.

Not every church is dog-friendly, but Father Nick’s love for animals made him especially excited to have Solo join the day.

The weather was perfect as Solo and I strolled the grounds, sniffing everything in sight, snacking on treats, and sipping a few “water cocktails” to pregame. SK Events Pittsburgh kept us perfectly in sync with the timeline, so we knew exactly when it was showtime.

When the moment came, Natalie looked absolutely stunning. Solo lined up with one of the flower girls and proudly walked down the aisle. From the sidelines, I couldn’t help but channel Kris Jenner: “You’re doing amazing, sweetie!”

Like with all our couples, we stayed nearby in case the Dog of Honor needed a break. But Solo exceeded every expectation calm, collected, and stealing hearts the entire time.

At one point, when a child let out a little cry, Solo’s face was pure comedy like he was clutching his pearls!

It was the perfect candid moment. He truly was the best boy.

After more than half the ceremony, we stepped outside to give him a breather. Father Nick gave him the sweetest farewell as we exited, carrot still in tow but never needed. We spent the downtime playing fetch, relaxing, and recharging then made sure to return right as Natalie and Rob came down the aisle as newlyweds, so Solo could be the very first to congratulate them.

Of course, he nailed the photo session total supermodel behavior, no direction needed. After showering his parents with kisses, we wrapped up the night with cuddles, nose boops, and well wishes for the happiest ever after.

A perfect day with the most perfect gentleman.

Meet The Owners

FairyTail Pet Care Pittsburgh

Heather and Bethany are sisters and huge dog lovers. Heather adopted a coonhound mix named Waylon and Bethany adopted two German Shepard mixes named Bear and Marshall as well as a cat named Bowie. Both have been very active in the rescue community over the years and were foster failures.

Heather worked as an OB nurse and Bethany in Quality Assurance after both graduating from Florida State University. When Heather got married in 2019, she hired Fairytail Pet Care in Tampa and knew at the moment the handlers walked into the venue with her beloved pups, that she wanted to be a part of such a brilliant company. There was no one else more perfect to join her in this journey than Bethany, an avid dog lover.

When they aren’t taking dogs to weddings, you  can find them running in half and full marathons, boating,  and being outdoors as much as possible
