Please join us in welcoming Rachel, the owner of FairyTail Pet Care - Orlando! She has a unique and special history with FairyTail Pet Care!
Rachel got married at Casa Feliz in April of 2022. Her dog, Scrappy, was a big part of how she met her now husband & so they knew they wanted her to be a part of their special day. Luckily, their wedding photographer had heard of FairyTail Pet Care & she booked with us right away. We loved being Scrappy’s plus-ones!
Rachel even decided to add on the Dog of Honor® Videography & when she received her fully edited video from Scrappy’s point-of-view she knew that she wanted to be a part of this company.
Flash forward to today and she is officially our third franchise location!
Meet The Owners!
Rachel adopted a yorkie terrier dachshund mix named Scrappy. Rachel recently got married in April 2022 and since Scrappy was a big reason in how Rachel and her husband started dating, there was no question that Scrappy would be part of the wedding.
Rachel heard about a company in Tampa that helps with your dog during a wedding and takes a video from the dog’s perspective. Rachel contacted FairyTail Pet Care in Tampa, hired them, and was so impressed with the quality of care and attention they provided her beloved Scrappy on her wedding day. When she received the video FairyTail created that featured Scrappy, Rachel knew she had to be part of this amazing company.
When Rachel isn’t taking dogs to weddings, you can find her cuddling her fur baby, Scrappy; at the beach; relaxing by her pool or doing Pilates on her reformer at home. She enjoys snorkeling and has a secret love for tiki huts.

Why did you include your dog in your wedding?
”Since we don’t have any human children of our own yet, our dog is our “baby”, and one of the most important members of our little family.
From the get-go we both agreed that he had to be there for our big day. It just wouldn’t have been the same without ALL of our family and friends there.”
What is the story of how your dog became a part of your family?
“As it turns out, we both really wanted a husky puppy. So when the topic came up of getting a dog together, it was a pretty easy decision.
We started contacting breeders/rescues, and eventually found a puppy we couldn’t wait to meet. We decided to take a road trip to go meet this little pup, and it was just love at first site for both of us! He’s been a part of our family ever since!”
Did you incorporate your dog into any other details on your wedding day?
“We had a custom cake topper made with a bride and groom kissing and a husky jumping on the bride (just like our dog does in real life to me when we show affection to each other and it makes him jealous)”
All dogs are the best dogs, but tell us something that makes your dog special?
“Oh man, where do I begin! Our little Meeko monster is so sassy and fully of personality! He’s VERY talkative and loves giving kisses.
He also loves to cuddle and has ZERO regard for personal space. If something small is on the couch, like a phone or a remote, he will whine and whine until you move it, but then he will literally sit on top of a human like they don’t even exist.”
