We arrived at the shelter to break Oakley, the rescue pup, out of his cage.
He was so excited for an adventure!
We brought him to the Hotel Zamora where a group of fellow wedding vendors had organized a styled wedding photo shoot. We knew this would be a great opportunity for Oakley to be exposed to new environments & people. Socialization for any shelter dog is incredibly important, especially if you can start at a young age.
It was also a fun chance to get a few professional photos of Oakley to promote his adoption. The wedding vendors are also able to use these photos to showcase to their couples that they are pet friendly. Of course, the photos came out ADORABLE!

It turns out it was truly Oakley’s lucky day because one of the wedding coordinators with Blue Skies Weddings & Events fell in love with the sweet boy & just knew he would be a perfect addition to their family!
They made things official the next day at the shelter & now Oakley (they kept his name) is living his best life in a loving home!
Congrats to Oakley & his humans!
We are so happy we could help you find each other!

Hotel Zamora Wedding with Carly & Toby - St Pete Beach, FL
Carly & Toby were a big part of their parent’s intimate wedding on St Pete Beach, FL. Learn more about how we helped include them in the day!
The blue skies on Pass-a-Grille beach presented a vibrant and intimate atmosphere for Emily and Jesse’s nuptials. It was evident that Carly and Toby played a special role in both the big day and in the hearts of their parents.
Emily didn’t feel complete getting ready without her babies being present throughout. So we spent time with her, and when it was time to get some excitement out, we took a walk around the pet-friendly Hotel Zamora. There was plenty to explore as we took a stroll around and the guests couldn’t help but gush when they spotted the adorable fur brother and sister.
When the “first look” time was upon us, we made our way up to the 360 rooftop bar and found a shady spot to wait while mom and dad had a special moment together. Carly and Toby had big smiles when they were able to join in for family pictures.
As the ceremony commenced, the sun was brilliant as both Jesse and Emily each walked Toby and Carly down the isle.
Family and friends said their “hellos” to the pair, and followed with a “goodbye” as we brought the pups back to get settled in for the evening. Carly and Toby had no trouble falling asleep that evening after playing such a big role, and were so proud to be such a bright light for Emily and Jesse’s big day.

When it comes to actually carrying the wedding rings, we have an important recommendation—let’s leave the real rings to the humans!
