Tiny’s Day Off: When the Dogs Took Over at 612 North in St Louis
I—Tiny, the official Cat Executive Officer of FairyTail Pet Care decided it was time for a well-earned day off, so I sent my questionable canine colleagues, Bane and Billie Jean, on a mission—to check out 612 North Event Space in St. Louis.
After a long (and honestly, exhausting) road trip last week,
I—Tiny, the official Cat Executive Officer of FairyTail Pet Care decided it was time for a well-earned day off. 😼
No emails. No meetings. No barking in my ears.
Just me, my sunspot, and a day of deep existential pondering. Bliss.
But of course, business must go on, so I sent my questionable canine colleagues, Bane and Billie Jean, on a mission—to check out 612 North Event Space in St. Louis.
Big mistake? Maybe (because I sure did miss out).
While I was home suffering (with subpar treats, might I add), these two were out living their best lives at what I can only describe as a pet-friendly paradise.
Here’s what they reported back:
Super pet-friendly – Apparently, hoomans at this venue love dogs (and probably cats, but did I get to confirm? No. Devastating.).
Customizable event packages – Whether you’re ballin’ on a budget or planning a luxurious extravaganza, 612 North makes it work for you. They offer all the options, which means your dream wedding, party, or event is totally possible.
Full in-house catering & bar – Bane would not stop talking about this. Something about “why don’t dogs get their own charcuterie boards?” And honestly, he makes a fair point.
Two event floors – Perfect for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions of all sizes. Billie Jean zoomed through every space like she was testing a racetrack. If a venue passes the zoomies test, you know it’s spacious!
The VIEW. 😻 This one hurt to miss. 612 North is the closest venue to the St. Louis Arch, meaning unobstructed, breathtaking skyline views. Just imagine your event photos—pure magic.
The Aftermath: Tiny’s Regret
So, while Bane and Billie Jean had the time of their lives, I sat at home, realizing I had missed out on an absolute dream venue. 😾
Lesson learned. Next time?
Tiny does the venue tour. The dogs? They stay home.
But if you want to experience 612 North’s pet-friendly magic,
FairyTail Pet Care is ready to help make your event purrfectly stress-free! 😉🐾

Why Pups Love Staying at Nicki & Buster’s House!
My favorite thing about this business?
Hearing from clients that their dogs get excited when they hear my name or turn down my street. It melts my heart every time! I want every pup to feel like they’re coming to their second home when they stay with me. No scary kennels, no overwhelming environments—just a comfy, safe space where they get all the love and attention they deserve.
My second favorite thing has been learning about all of the different breeds and personalities! No two pups are alike and it makes my job that much more fun and fulfilling!
What Makes My In-Home Boarding Special?
Unlike traditional kennels, my home is a relaxed, welcoming space where dogs can feel comfortable and happy. Whether they’re staying for a night or a whole honeymoon, I make sure they get all the snuggles, belly rubs, and playtime they need.
Why You (and Your Dog) Will Love It:
Feels Like Home – No cold kennels here! Your pup will relax in a cozy, loving environment.
Personalized Care – Every dog is different, and I make sure to stick to their routine, diet, and favorite activities.
Never Lonely – They’ll have companionship and attention all day—no long hours alone like at some boarding facilities.
Photo & Video Updates – You’ll get adorable updates so you can see how much fun they’re having.
Perfect for Weddings & Travel – If I’m already handling wedding pet care, it’s a no-brainer to have them stay for your honeymoon, too!

Transportation For Your Dog on Wedding Day
If you’re planning to invite your dog to your wedding there are a lot of logistics to consider. The most common one that couple’s struggle with is who will bring them to the venue & drop them off after the ceremony. Luckily, this is one of the main services a wedding pet care company provides!

Hiring professional wedding pet care means you won’t have to ask someone to leave your wedding to bring your dog home, or ask someone you didn’t invite to be on doggie duty. It also means your dog has the option to head home when it’s best for them & get settled in after a fun-filled day of wedding photos & ceremony while you & your guests enjoy the reception & party.
Every wedding is unique, but typically the wedding pet attendant will pick your dog up from the pre-determined location & then head to the venue.
Commonly, this is your home or a family/friend home, but it can also be the airbnb or hotel you’re getting ready at or a boarding facility/pet sitter’s home.
The same goes for drop off, it will be determined ahead of time where your dog will be dropped off (home, hotel, boarding, etc).
The locations can be different if that is what makes the most sense (i.e pick up at home & drop off at boarder).
You may have multiple locations on your wedding timeline & your dog’s wedding handler can provide transportation to & from these locations, as well, if needed.
For example, you may want your dog to visit you at the hotel you’re getting ready in for a few pictures & good luck kisses then head to the venue for the ceremony. Or your reception/cocktail hour may be at a different location than your ceremony.
Your dog’s wedding handler will be happy to settle your pup in at the end of the night, of course.
They’ll make sure they have dinner, if needed, & a potty break, along with any other end of night tasks before heading out. This ensures you can enjoy the rest of your night knowing your baby is all settled in after their big adventure.
You can also add additional hours of pet care at this point.
This is especially helpful if you’re dog is dropped off at a hotel room or unfamiliar location. Overnight stays are an option, as well, if you need someone to care for your dog until the next day.
If you’re considering including your dog in your wedding in any way, then we highly recommend investing in wedding pet care.
It ensures you & your dog will have the best day ever by providing peace of mind that your dog is receiving the best care possible & that all of the logistics, like transportation, will be handled by a professional.
